I came across the boutique salon The Linen Room & Dzipars by chance whilst visiting Aluksne with my family... who then struggled to get me out of the shop!

Situated on the main street, it is definitely worth visiting for the beautiful exquisite linen, wood and wool things. The word "products" would do injustice seeing that each and every thing from the wide variety of colours, shapes, shades and sizes on display is unique, made from natural materials with obvious love and care for superior, special quality.
Amber hair lady consultant in the boutique was very helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. I was even allowed to shop beyond opening hours. To summarise, exceptional place for linens, wood, wool, ceramics. HANDMADE.
